- Product packaging — manuals, warranty registration or review pages.
- Posters & signage — event registration, WiFi help pages, app downloads.
URL QR code — FAQ
Do these QR codes expire?
No. They are static codes — the destination URL is encoded directly in the image, so they work forever with no redirect service in the middle.
Can I change the destination later?
Not with a static code — the URL is fixed inside the image. If you need an editable destination, use a shortener or link service that lets you update where it points, then encode that link here.
How small can I print one?
Keep it at least 2 × 2 cm for close-range scans (flyers, cards), and scale up proportionally for posters viewed from a distance.
Why does a long link make a denser code?
More characters means more modules. The counter in the link card warns you when a URL is getting long — if it does, run it through a shortener first for a cleaner, easier-to-scan code.
Can I track how many people scanned it?
No — and that's deliberate. Tracking requires routing scans through a third-party server. These codes connect the scanner directly to your destination, privately.
