Limits & how it works

  • Max size: 20 MB per file.
  • Link lifetime: about 24 hours, then the file is auto-deleted and the QR stops working.
  • One file per QR — each upload gets its own code and link.
  • The QR contains a direct link — scanning opens the file in the phone's browser or viewer.
⚠ Public link: anyone who scans the QR can download the file until it expires. Avoid uploading private documents, IDs or anything sensitive.

File → QR FAQ

How do I share a file longer than 24 hours?

This tool is built for quick, temporary sharing. For permanent files, host them yourself (or on any drive with a public link) and use the URL QR generator instead.

Why did my upload fail?

Most often the file is over 20 MB, the upload service is temporarily unreachable, or the connection dropped. Check the status message under the drop zone for the exact reason.

Can I upload multiple files at once?

One file per QR — each upload creates its own code and link. Generate as many as you need, one after another.

What happens when the link expires?

The file is deleted from storage and the QR stops resolving. Anything you downloaded before expiry keeps working — the QR image itself doesn't expire, only the link inside it.
