1. What QRForge provides

QRForge offers free, browser-based tools that generate QR codes and barcodes. All tools are provided as-is, free of charge, with no account required. We may add, change, or remove any tool at any time.

2. No accounts, no fees

• No signup, login, or payment is required to use any tool.
• We never charge for QR generation or downloads.
• Because there are no accounts, there is nothing to cancel and nothing stored about you.

3. File uploads (File → QR & WhatsApp file attach)

• Files are uploaded to temporary cloud storage and receive a public link — anyone with the link or QR can download the file until it expires.
• Do not upload private, confidential, or sensitive material — IDs, passwords, contracts, medical or financial documents.
• Maximum file size is 20 MB.
• Files are automatically deleted after approximately 24 hours. Deletion timing is approximate and may vary by a few hours. After deletion, files cannot be recovered — download anything you need beforehand.
• QRForge is not a backup, archive, or permanent file-hosting service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use QRForge to create or distribute:

• Content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or infringes anyone's copyright or trademarks.
• Malware, viruses, or harmful files of any kind.
• Phishing pages, scam links, or codes that mislead people about where they lead.
• Spam, harassment, or impersonation of another person or business.

We reserve the right to remove uploaded files that violate these rules, though we do not actively review or monitor uploads. See a bad QR or file? Report it — we act on reports.

5. UPI / payment QR codes — important

• QRForge is not a payment processor, bank, or financial institution. We never touch, hold, or transfer money, and we charge no fees or commissions.
• The UPI tool simply encodes your own UPI ID into the standard upi://pay format. Payments go directly from the payer's bank account to yours.
• You are solely responsible for entering the correct UPI ID, name, and amount. Always send yourself a small test payment (e.g. ₹1) before printing or sharing a payment QR. QRForge is not liable for payments sent to a wrong or mistyped ID.
• UPI QR codes work only within India's UPI system and cannot process cards or international payments.
• "UPI" is a product of NPCI. WhatsApp is a product of Meta. Google Pay, PhonePe, and Paytm belong to their respective owners. QRForge is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of them — their names appear only to describe compatibility.

6. Accuracy & your responsibility to test

QR codes are generated locally in your browser using open-source software. We make no warranty that every code will scan on every device. Before mass-printing, shipping, or displaying any code — especially payment, Wi-Fi, or contact codes — test it yourself on a real phone. Ink quality, print size, and surface material all affect scannability and are outside our control.

7. Third-party services

QRForge loads some resources (fonts, code libraries) from public CDNs and uses AWS S3 for temporary file storage. Those services are governed by their own terms and availability. Internet connectivity is required for first load and for file uploads.

8. Availability & changes

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" with no uptime guarantee. We may modify or discontinue any part of QRForge at any time. However, QR codes already generated are static — the data is embedded in the code itself — so codes you've already created and printed will keep working regardless of what happens to this website.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QRForge and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the tools — including lost profits, lost payments, misdirected payments, printing costs, or data loss from expired files.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. Continued use of QRForge after changes means you accept the updated terms.
