Each image becomes one PDF page, in the order shown on the right.
A4 is what printers and offices expect. "Match image" keeps exact dimensions (1px = 1pt).
White border around each image. Ignored in "match image" mode.
How images are embedded into the PDF. 90+ looks identical; lower = smaller file.
Saved as your-name.pdf.
Small grey "1 / N" at the bottom of each page.
Transparency becomes white — PDF pages are opaque. For scanned documents, A4 + 10mm margin looks closest to a printed page.

Image ↔ PDF — FAQ
Why did my PDF get bigger than the photos?
PDFs add structure per page, and JPEG-in-PDF is slightly less efficient than a standalone JPEG. It's normal and small — usually within 10%.
What does the render scale do in PDF → Images?
PDFs are vector — they can be rendered at any sharpness. 1× matches on-screen size, 2× doubles pixel density (crisp text, good for printing), 3× for zooming deep or large-format printing.
Can I extract only some pages?
Yes — type a range in the Pages box: 1-5, 8, 11-13 extracts exactly those pages. Leave it empty for all.
Can I make a multi-page PDF from one image?
Not here — this tool maps one image to one page. Add the same image to the list multiple times if you need repeats.
Scanned documents — which settings?
Images → PDF: A4, auto orientation, 10mm margin, quality 90+, and switch on page numbers. The result looks like a properly printed and stapled document.
